Summary

The Sales Compensation Analyst will play a vital role in administering sales compensation at Workiva. Responsibilities include the administration, analysis, and reporting of incentive compensation results. This role ensures accurate and timely calculation of incentive payouts, maintains compliance with corporate policies, and helps provide strategic insights to optimize administration of compensation plans. The analyst collaborates with various departments, including Sales Ops, Sales, and HR, to support business objectives and drive performance and will play an integral role in the administration of Xactly Incent at Workiva. The successful candidate in this role should have advanced technical skills, enjoy analytical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple assignments. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate across different functional teams in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a vital part of the Sales Operations and Compensation team by supporting Workiva’s 600+ employees on global sales compensation plans

  • Administer and maintain incentive compensation plans for sales and other eligible teams

  • Ensure accurate calculation of incentive payouts based on plan criteria and performance data

  • Communicate incentive plan details and payout information to employees and management

  • Generate regular reports on incentive payouts, performance metrics, and trends

  • Ensure incentive plans comply with company policies and legal requirements

  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of incentive calculations and payments

  • Address any discrepancies or issues related to incentive payouts promptly

  • Maintain incentive compensation management systems and tools (Xactly Incent)

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in compensation analysis and administration; or an advanced degree without experience

  • Experience with Xactly Incent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and outstanding attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of stakeholders

  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a quickly growing and global environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, global environment, including an ability to multi-task and juggle multiple tasks both big and small

  • Ability to be solution-oriented and help solve problems, make complex / manual processes more effective and automated and deliver creative solution to issues

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $61,000.00 - $104,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
