About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced professional to join the team as a Incentive Compensation Systems Manager. You will be a part of a growing team as we develop processes to support rapid business growth. We’re looking for someone with a very high attention to detail with strong technical skills, who is a self-starter, a great communicator and who enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the end-to-end solutioning for all changes that are developed on our incentive compensation platform. This includes the design architecture of what changes are to be implemented, how they are implemented, oversight of smoke testing and UAT testing efforts to support the change as well as the production deployment and final enablement to close out the change.

  • Participate in the entire GTM life cycle for annual plan set up for each business line.

  • Troubleshoot defects and research ad hoc requests across multiple systems as needed.

  • Create efficiencies, reduce manual efforts, and minimize risk of error by automating procedures that are manually performed.

  • Collaborate with business process owners and SOX control team members on the management and execution of controls to ensure compliance in an increasingly complex and dynamic business environment.

  • Assist in supporting all SOX related controls documentation ensuring all controls have been executed with completeness, accuracy and on time. Assist in SOX walk throughs and all other supporting audit requests.

  • Partner with cross functional teams on additional ad hoc projects.

  • Support day-to-day commissions administration process including global monthly commission payout, adjustments, and compensation case management.

  • Coach team members on best practice development procedures. Provide oversight and support on their tasks.

  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation administration.

  • 5+ years of experience of hands-on development, testing and leading change with the Xactly Incent commission application.

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with audit (internal and external) and supporting SOX related controls.

  • 4+ years people leadership experience.

  • 3+ years’ experience using Salesforce.

  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve and manipulate large and complex data sets from internal systems.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field preferred.

  • In depth knowledge of Xactly Analytics and Connect is highly preferred.

  • Technology industry experience is preferred.

  • Advanced Excel or Google sheet skills (proficient in building models and tools).

  • Strong communication skills and professional presence.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive compensation matters with discretion.

  • Possesses a high emotional intelligence and excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills. Must be able to accurately compile and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to the rapid organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.

  • High degree of flexibility in handling new assignments and adapting to change.

  • Ability to manage processes globally, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $124,000 USD - $186,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $212,200 USD
