Job Overview
We are looking for a Compensation Specialist to play an instrumental part in supporting our Executive Compensation strategies. This role supports the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals. By analyzing data and summarizing findings, you will provide insights that influence executive compensation decisions. We are an exceptionally tight knit team and through collaboration, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of materials presented at the Executive Officer and Board level. Through your expertise, you will maintain and optimize executive compensation processes, while contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of T-Mobile's compensation framework.

** This role is based in Bellevue, WA and follows a hybrid schedule, 3/days week in the office **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication and illustrative documents for T-Mobile Executives: Individual Cash Flow Forecasts (customized financial overview of forecasted total compensation), overviews of plans, etc. Assist in developing reusable templates and processes to drive understanding, efficiency, and scalability.
  • May be responsible for setting up new jobs and job descriptions, generating compensation statements, creating data loads and reporting, supporting market pricing activities and salary survey participation, performing routine audits and ensuring data hygiene across various systems and/or performing incentive compensation operational activities. Assist with job documentation, compensation systems/tools, data preparation and analysis, program reviews and other compensation team needs as appropriate.
  • Conduct ongoing research of peer company compensation, stay current on disclosures and trends.
  • Assist in the preparation and audit of Board of Director Compensation Committee materials and required SEC disclosures.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, audit and discussion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree plus 2-4 years work experience in compensation or corporate consulting (financial or governance); lesser experience may be considered with an advanced academic background.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools; highly advanced with Excel to handle large complex data sets and corporate financial information; advanced with PowerPoint to build executive ready presentations.
  • Interest for project planning and project execution preferred, with skills including: organization, prioritization, communication, timeline management, resource partnership, documentation and customer service.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to work in a highly confidential environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively frame and solve complex problems through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis with some supervision and guidance.

Base Pay Range: $65,500 - $118,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
