Role Description: As a Compensation Program Senior Manager on the Compensation Programs team, you are responsible for leading and implementing the compensation programs you oversee, articulating program strategy and objectives, and assessing overall business impact. This includes defining and overseeing the necessary dependent projects needed to reach the overall goals of the program(s). This position may also provide guidance and/or directly manage other compensation delivery staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of the business and partner with leadership to set program strategy and objectives.
- Create and manage program related projects; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of program/project deliverables, as needed.
- Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong eye for business, excellent communication skills and in-depth analytical capabilities.
- Ensure the coordination of necessary events occurs to ensure successful program execution (e.g. budget requests/approvals, system readiness, communications and enablement, data validation, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day execution of program/project activities including but not limited to: planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project.
- Identify and build relationships with critical program team members (must have the ability to influence decision makers).
- Understand how the program may impact/be impacted by other initiatives and work with internal partners on mitigation plans as needed.
- Conduct thorough post-program assessments to identify gaps and areas of opportunity.
- Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring adherence to project governance.
- Partner with Business Technology and other internal operations systems teams to ensure all requirements/enhancement requests are clearly documented by any necessary deadlines.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Compensation or Finance
- Expertise in financial analysis, statistical analysis, and modeling is required
- Expertise in Excel & Google Suite
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities is essential
- Must be able to influence, problem solve, and successfully collaborate and communicate with clients on various levels

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
