Role Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Incentives & Compensation Operations critical in driving sales performance and operational efficiency within Rivian's commercial group. This position involves strategic analysis, program management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize incentive programs and sales operations. The Lead will leverage data-driven insights to enhance profitability, customer engagement, and operational effectiveness, working closely with senior leadership to execute key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Incentive Program Support: Promote national incentive/spiff programs that align with sales objectives and market dynamics, ensuring optimal return on investment.
- Payout Management: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payouts related to spiff programs and sales commissions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and incentive program performance, generating actionable insights and comprehensive reports for senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Financial Services, Marketing, Finance, and Product Marketing to ensure alignment and seamless execution of incentive programs and sales strategies.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trends, providing strategic insights to inform incentive program development and sales strategies.
- Program Documentation and Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized documentation for incentive programs, ensuring clear communication and consistent implementation.
- National Campaign Support: Provide analytical support and operational guidance for national commercial and industrial (C&I) campaigns.
- Special Project Management: Lead special sales incentive program optimization projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, field operations, market intelligence, incentive planning, financial services, sales operations, or related roles; preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights, including complex modeling
- Proven experience in managing and implementing effective incentive programs that drive sales performance.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM systems, including Excel, Google Sheets, and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with automotive data sets including PIN+, S&P Global, MotorIntelligence, ALG, GfK, and Strategic Vision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to adapt.
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $125,000-$150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
