The Sr Accountant will be responsible for accounting for product sales (revenue recognition) by Regeneron’s Ex-US entities, across Europe and Asia.

A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Completion of revenue recognition activities/ tasks on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis such as: Record sales by legal entity and location. Record GTN (gross to net) adjustments for rebates, clawback agreements etc. Maintenance of GTN files by country. Liaison with Finance and Commercial teams on GTN assumptions. Record cash receipts and discounts. Reconciliation of sales and AR data. Ensure revenue recognition is compliant with corporate policy and US GAAP. Provide and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis for related AR accounts. Provide commentary for accounting leadership team and others on monthly fluxes in revenue.

• Responsible for developing internal controls and procedures, and ensuring internal controls are designed and operating effectively in compliance with the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

• Developing and improving systems and controls on an ongoing basis.

• Aid in the development of financial policies and procedures.

• Support the internal statutory team to ensure smooth audit processes and timely responsiveness to auditor requests and statutory timelines for Ex-US entities.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and timely responsiveness to auditor requests.

• Liaise with the Company’s corporate accounting department to ensure that all group requirements are met.

Education and Experience:

To be considered for this position you must hold a professional accountancy qualification with 3+ years post qualification experience. Relevant experience ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment. Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

Knowledge of Oracle Systems a distinct advantage. Exposure to US GAAP an advantage.
