About Okta’s Total Rewards Organization: Okta’s Total Rewards organization provides comprehensive support to Okta employees and leaders, driving the strategic planning, design, development, implementation, and communication of competitive total rewards programs. These include annual rewards and global compensation and benefits budgets. We ensure our people are fairly and competitively paid by building and maintaining robust reward structures.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Compensation, the Senior Compensation Analyst will lead the development and implementation of compensation structures, programs, processes, and guidelines for the EMEA region. This role is based in Ireland, with the hiring manager located in the US.

Key Responsibilities:Compensation Strategy: Collaborate with the recruiting team on compensation assessments for both external and internal hires. Serve as a regional compensation advisor to local leaders, aligning compensation programs with business goals and supporting talent initiatives. Conduct analysis of compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external market competitiveness, and legal compliance. Analyze market data from salary survey vendors and prepare recommendations to update salary ranges and compensation guidelines based on regional needs and Okta’s global rewards strategies. Provide recommendations on salary structures, bonuses, and incentive programs to attract and retain talent, including sales and non-sales employees.

Regulatory and Market Monitoring: Help to develop and administer pay equity strategies as countries implement pay equity legislation. Monitor government regulations, legislation, and market trends. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in compensation, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the company's offerings in the region.

Training and Guidance: Offer guidance and training to the People & Places community, managers, and employees. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate and recommend pay adjustments to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.

Project Management: Coordinate projects to streamline administrative processes associated with compensation. Partner with regional payroll to ensure smooth operation of processes. Manage and deepen partnerships with key regional partners to enrich programs with industry insights and ensure competitiveness.

Qualifications:Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional compensation role within a multinational environment. Understanding of compensation fundamentals, such as writing job descriptions, reviewing job leveling, and conducting global salary surveys (specifically AON Radford or Mercer Comptryx). Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Experience designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs in a multi-region or global organization. Hands-on team player with strong analytical skills and a metrics-focused orientation. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Workday. Demonstrated success in a dynamic, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment. Proven ability to manage current programs, challenge the status quo, and champion new initiatives. Strong work ethic, accountability, and a track record of building credibility and trust across the organization. Ability to quickly learn a company’s priorities and translate them into actionable solutions. #LI-REMOTE#LI-JP3
