Systems Administration & Support:

The Senior Workday Administrator will be responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, providing functional and technical support.

  • Maintain the Workday HCM system; serve as functional and technical expert
  • Configuration and maintain the Workday Advanced Compensation processes and annual process grid requirements
  • Set up of job architecture related to job profiles and compensation profiles
  • Ability to create condition rules and compensation rules in Workday
  • Perform system administration functions including business process configuration and processing of EIBs
  • Ensure data and system integrity
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality service to end users. Troubleshoot bugs to identify and fix root causes
  • Adhere and support HCM SOX control compliance
  • Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on all Workday releases and fixes
  • Configure and test enhancements and maintain documentation of business processes. Work with clients to identify and clarify complex business requirements. Partner with IT to review and test applicable system integrations, as required.
  • Participate in the regular review and prioritization of HR systems projects
  • Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes
  • Assist in the development of change management, communication and training plans
  • Ensure that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Provide training to end users

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with experience in human resources, business analysis, information systems or a related field required
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive human resources, information systems or related experience, preferably in a large corporation

Required Skills:

  • Workday HCM configuration experience
  • Workday Advanced Compensation configuration and process launch
  • Strong experience with the creation of condition rules and calculated fields.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation preferably in Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
  • Must be detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
  • High attention to detail
