Most companies call it HR. At Electronic Arts we made the deliberate decision to brand our organization People Experience (PE). It is not just a play on words. PE is a team of cultural stewards who carefully create programs and talent strategies that reinforce our desired culture and enable our teams to excel.

EA's Compensation team manages our core compensation programs and provides consultation to our PE partners and business leaders. We stay at the forefront of market trends and combine our knowledge of market practice with the needs of our business to create compelling, competitive, performance-oriented compensation programs that attract, engage, reward and retain EA's talent.

Role Overview: As a Compensation Intern, you will support our global team in implementing a significant upgrade to our workforce management infrastructure. This transformational change involves job architecture, global compensation structures, job content, and aligning associated programs, systems, and processes within EA’s talent management ecosystem. This dynamic opportunity requires strong skills in project management, change leadership, relationship building, training, and communications. A proactive and positive attitude is essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in finalizing EA’s new job architecture, ensuring compliance and effective job content management.
  • Contribute to developing a comprehensive training and communications plan of our updated workforce management infrastructure for execution in early 2026.
  • Map, design, and track updated compensation data elements within talent management processes and systems to support various HR functions such as promotions, pay increases, and recruiting.
  • Drive compensation projects requiring analytical and business partnership skills as assigned.
  • Partner with experts from a team of PE Business Partners, HRIT, Global Compensation team, and PE Centers of Excellence (e.g. Talent Acquisition; Talent & Performance; Next Gen Talent; Workforce Planning & Analytics).
  • Engage in EA’s common intern experience to understand company culture and game development, leveraging insights to inform your assigned area of opportunity from a People Experience perspective.
  • Present findings and recommendations on your area of opportunity to the global leadership team at the conclusion of your internship.

Role Requirements:

  • You are currently enrolled in an HR Masters program (or related discipline) and are slated to graduate December 2025 or May 2026.
  • You are a self starter, enthusiastic about using data to inform recommendations, and are comfortable operating within ambiguity at times
  • You have some exposure to or experience driving and implementing complex projects or change initiatives and understand the value of communicating to global audiences of varying skill and leadership levels
  • You are intellectually curious
  • You are proficient with a wide variety of productivity tools including MS Office, Google suites, MIRO, Visier, etc …
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to quickly establish matrixed relationships in both virtual and in person environments
  • HRIT, process management, and integrated talent management systems related skills a plus (e.g. Workday, Agile, project management, testing, etc.)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. PAY RANGES

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k). Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
