Job Description
Position Title: Director, Equity & Executive Compensation
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

As the Director, Executive Compensation and Equity, you’ll report to the Head of Global Compensation and Benefits and will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success by leading the design, administration, and communication of executive compensation and equity programs that align with our business goals and shareholder interests.
What you’ll do
- Strategy, Process Improvement, & Program Design: Drive alignment between the company’s executive compensation strategy and organizational performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for executive compensation and equity-related processes. Develop and implement efficient workflows and automation to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and overall program effectiveness. Innovate the design of executive compensation plans and equity structures to meet evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and market trends.
- Comprehensive Equity & ESPP Plan Management: Oversee all aspects of equity compensation, including design, administration, and governance of Equity and ESPP plans. Ensure programs are competitive, market-driven, and compliant with regulatory requirements globally.
- Talent & Compensation Committee Preparation: Lead the preparation of agendas and comprehensive executive compensation materials and analyses for Talent & Compensation Committee meetings.
- Executive Offer Development: Partner with key stakeholders to develop competitive and compelling executive compensation offers, including base salary, incentives, and equity awards.
- Regulatory Compliance & Disclosure: Lead the preparation of executive compensation sections of the company’s Proxy statement. Ensure all required public executive compensation disclosures are accurate, transparent, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with HR, finance, legal, external consultants, and third-party vendors (e.g., Fidelity) to ensure seamless program administration.
- Change Management & Communication: Lead the development of clear, effective communications strategies for executive compensation programs. Ensure that participants, including senior leaders, fully understand their compensation packages. Spearhead education initiatives and stakeholder management to support program success.
What you’ll need
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 4+ years of direct experience managing complex equity plans and governance in a global, publicly-traded company. CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification is a plus. Prior experience with Fidelity is also a plus.
- Proven leadership and strategic capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence and guide critical compensation decisions.
- Experience in process improvement and program design, with a track records of implementing more efficient systems and designing innovative executive compensation solutions.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to use advanced functions to create data-driven reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Advanced expertise in regulatory compliance, including Proxy reporting, SEC filings, tax compliance, and global equity management practices.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a results-oriented approach.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams, driving change initiatives, and ensuring alignment across global functions.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.
