The Compensation team is looking for an innovative compensation professional to lead the compensation function for our Greater China and selected APAC markets. You will partner with the leadership teams and their People Business Partners to design an innovative, global compensation strategy within the overall company compensation philosophy for the organization.
Description
- You will be responsible for all of the compensation matters of selected Lines of Business in your region, such as Operations, Hardware, Apple Watch and Health organization, including:
- You will work with People Business Partners and business leaders to develop and deliver innovative compensation programs
- Leading job code reviews and providing market-based recommendations to department leaders
- Providing guidance on base salary, bonus and equity programs
- Working with the Compensation team to review compensation policies and practices
- Delivering training to People Business Partners, Recruiting and managers on compensation philosophy and programs
- Leading strategic projects while also handling routine activities
- Executing the annual compensation planning process
- Performing ad hoc analysis to support business needs
- Initiating and maintaining strong working relationships with the People Team
Minimum Qualifications
- Track record of consistent success leading Compensation programs, with 7-10+ years of demonstrable experience in a multi-national company.
- Confirmed analytical skills.
- Exceptional excel/spreadsheet skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing and ability to support innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in High-Tech and/or Health industries preferred.
- Proven team orientation with collaborative style. Flexible demeanor and an ability to get involved in details while maintaining wider view.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising senior leaders.
- Independent, self-starter with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity in a sophisticated matrix structure.
- Excellent process management, planning and organizational skills. Resilient and determined to ensure projects and results are achieved.
- Robust analytical skills and business sense, with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities, adding value to management decisions.
- Proven track record to learn on the fly and maintain composure in a fast paced environment.
- Pragmatic, quick-thinking, and action oriented to drive for results, with solid bias for customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Additional language skills a plus.
- High integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
