Description
Employee Equity Programs: Manage and design employee equity compensation programs, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Performance Shares, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with securities regulations and financial reporting requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing the monthly stock package process, ESPP operations, budgeting, forecasting, and related activities.
Annual Compensation Planning: Lead all aspects of equity-related processes during the Annual Compensation Planning cycle, including system setup, strategy development, timeline management, budget reconciliation, and administrative updates as required. Executive Compensation Support: Design, implement, and manage competitive executive compensation programs, encompassing base salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives (equity and non-equity).
Compensation Committee Support: Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee, providing data analysis and insights on executive pay programs. Collaborate with People leadership, finance, legal, and external consultants to align with governance and compliance standards. Assist in drafting proxy statement disclosures, including the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A), ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Competitive Market Assessment: Contribute to annual assessments of equity compensation programs to evaluate market competitiveness. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and present recommendations for program enhancements. Reporting and Analysis: Deliver ad hoc stock reporting and analyses for Compensation Business Partners and other stakeholders. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Stock Administration, Systems, and FP&A teams to provide actionable insights and support.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate will have achieved a track record of consistent success leading Compensation programs, with 7-10+ years of demonstrable experience in a multi-national company.
- Deep knowledge of competitive market pay practices, with strong networking skills.
- Exceptional excel/spreadsheet skills.
- Both domestic & international travel will be required for this role.

- Experience in High-Tech and/or Consulting industries preferred.
- Proven team orientation with collaborative style. Flexible demeanor and an ability to get involved in details while maintaining wider view.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising senior leaders.
- Independent, self-starter with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity in a sophisticated matrix structure.
- Excellent process management, planning and organizational skills. Resilient and determined to ensure projects and results are achieved.
- Robust analytical skills and business sense, with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities, adding value to management decisions.
- Proven track record to learn on the fly and maintain composure in a fast paced environment.
- Pragmatic, quick-thinking, and action oriented to drive for results, with solid bias for customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Additional language skills a plus.
- High integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
