The Opportunity

The Global Sales Compensation resource will play a pivotal role in the success of Adobe’s ARR Avg project, a transformational change in how the Adobe’s Digital Experience (DX) business unit quantifies Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and derivative metrics such as growth and attrition. This role involves supervising operations programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating across teams through meetings and progress measurement activities. Additionally, the role influences and contributes to the design, development lifecycle, and technical requirements of internal products or systems. This involvement spans all stages of the product or system's lifecycle, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and run operational processes to ensure end-to-end reporting is identical across various reporting systems, including CRM (multiple Salesforce instances, Dynamics), ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Intacct) and custom SQL tables.
  • Using various tools such as SQL queries, CRM native reporting and Valorx apps to data mine and analyze problem scenarios, corner cases and evaluate overall system and effectiveness.
  • Leverage expertise of Adobe sales and commission systems to design, test and improve future system enhancements or other cross-functional projects by partnering with Product Delivery Management (PDMs), development engineers, and internal end-users.
  • Build and cultivate relationships across key stakeholders including Sales Finance, Corporate Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy and Enablement, and Deal Desk.
  • Serve as SME and offer training/support to overall Sales organization as needed.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Global Compensation, data analysis, product delivery management.
  • Deep understanding of CRMs (Salesforce and Dynamics preferred), ERPs (SAP, NetSuite preferred) and SQL.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications, time management and social skills.
  • Inclination to train and educate users in new processes, policies, procedures and technologies.
  • Ability to reorder priorities on short-notice and adapt to changing requirements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,700 -- $242,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
